It has been almost three weeks since our son David disappeared. That we have no sign of him whatsoever. That our lives have totally stopped. That we have one unique goal, finding David.
For almost three weeks now, the police have been carrying out enquiries and all possibilities are being explored.
In these past three weeks we have been trying to give as much media coverage as possible to David’s disappearance so that if everyone sees a picture of his face, or a picture of his car, maybe someone, somewhere, will remember having seen something….
His photo has been seen on TV, in articles in many newspapers, both french and dutch, messages have been relayed on radio stations, websites, a Facebook group already counts over 3400 members…… It has to continue so that someone out there gives us the information enabling us to find our son, our brother, our David.
An enormous circle of people stand by our sides, in thought, in actions and in person and we thank you all so much. Without you, we wouldn’t be able to hold on, you help us keep hope to find David, you give us the strength to continue mobilizing people. Please help us to continue even more. Please come as many as possible on Saturday 5th of February at the Forum Jacques Medecin on the Place Massena in Nice, where we will meet to go and put up a large mosaic enabling us once again to increase public awareness and maybe find someone who will be able to lead us to David.
We count on you, we need you. Please bring a photo of yourself or of anything that is dear to you, you will place it on the mosaic that we will create together.
Saturday’s program is as follows (approximate schedule):
1pm Meet at Place Massena – Forum Jacques Medecin, then, towards:
1h30pm we will give you all a little word about David
2pm we will all head towards the seafront to create the mosaic
3h15pm we will head towards the Courthouse holding the mosaic
3h30pm we will take pictures of the group in front of the Courthouse holding the mosaic
You are then invited to share a drink to David’s health with us at the Brasserie Felix Faure.

Het is nu bijna 3 weken dat onze zoon David is verdwenen. Dat we geen enkel teken van leven van hem hebben ontvangen. Dat ons leven totaal op de kop staat. Dat we nog maar één doel hebben: hem terug vinden.
Sinds bijna 3 weken enqueteert de politie en worden alle mogelijke hypothesen onderzocht.
Sinds bijna 3 weken proberen we de verdwijning van David zo veel mogelijk onder de aandacht van de media en het publiek te brengen. Het doel is dat als iemand zijn gezicht ziet in een krant, een foto ziet van de auto, diegene zich misschien herinnert dat hij of zij David heeft gezien.
Zijn foto is op de televisie geweest, er zijn al vele artikelen aan Davids verdwijning gewijd in franse en nederlandse kranten, oproepen zijn gedaan via diverse radiostations, via internet. De groep op FaceBook die we zijn begonnen met 100 leden, telt er nu al meer dan 3400…
Wij gaan door met deze mobilisatie opdat er eindelijk een spoor gevonden zal worden dat zal leiden naar onze zoon, onze broer, onze David..
We worden omringd door een enorme groep mensen die solidair met ons zijn en wij zijn daar zo geweldig dankbaar voor. Zonder al deze steun zouden wij het niet volhouden, u helpt ons om de hoop levend te houden dat we David terug zullen vinden, u geeft ons de kracht om deze mobilisatie door te zetten.
Helpt u ons altublieft om door te gaan. Kom in grote getale op zaterdag 5 februari om 13H naar het Forum Jacques Médecin op de Place Masséna in Nice, waar we samen een enorm mosaiek willen maken op lakens met een boodschap voor David om nogmaals het publiek en de media te sensibiliseren voor deze verdwijning hetgeen misschien zou kunnen leiden tot het terug vinden van David.
We rekenen nogmaals op u, we hebben u nodig. Neemt u alstublieft een foto van uzelf of iets anders mee wat we op het mozaiek kunnen plakken of spelden.

13h00 Rendez Vous Place Masséna
13h30 Rob en Pauline nemen het woord over David en de zoekactie.
14h00 We vertrekken richting de zee om het mozaiek te maken.
15h15 We vertrekken richting het Palais de Justice terwijl we het mozaiek vasthouden
15h30 De pers en wij nemen foto’s terwijl we het mosaiek vasthouden
